A New sleek last with a rounder shaped toe and regular width. Fits true to size and rather similar to the 401. Slightly elongated toe and advice is to size down 1.5 size from your regular US size, or half down from your normal Carmina Rain/Meermin Hiro/Crockett & Jones 348.

Example: A UK 8 in Carmina Rain or US 9D in Allen Edmonds should select UK 7.5 in this model and last.

Last 445

Last 445: Last 445 is a medium round last with a very slight almond shape. It is perfectly balanced and has a generous instep, width and space in the toe box. It works very well in both dress shoes and making casual shoes appear smarter.

False First Impression

I tried the shoes on and felt the instep pressing against my arch. Certainly a first for me considering Carlos Santos shoes are the bulk of my collection. 13 out of 35...I just counted. While I was contemplating exchanging for a different model, I decided to take a chance and wear them for a day and I'm glad I did. I get only a slight feel of the instep with my right foot but this may disappear as they wear in. The last is perfect and I love the look and quality. I only wish they would've come with some level of rubber on the soles and heel block. Another winner from the Noble Shoe.

Was shocked the colour was different from the picture on the website. This pair of suede split toe derby has been?growing on me. I can't stop admiring them every day. They are sleek and sharp.

This shoe is so simple, clean, and elegant. This is my new go-to for business casual shoes, it looks good with most of my wardrobe and feels great on the foot. These also fit perfectly, ordered my normal size in my other Carlos Santos shoes on similar lasts.
